About Dr. Lee


Dr. Lee's career in medicine began at the Medical University of South Carolina. After medical school Dr. Lee completed his internship and residency at the Greenville Memorial Hospital. Dr. Lee also served in the National Guard and Army Reserve, receiving an honorable discharge in 2000.

Dr. Lee is a member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), recognized as one of the premier orthopedic organizations in the world, and the Orthopedic Surgeons of South Carolina. Dr. Lee is also a fellow of the AAOS and a board certified surgeon, which means that he has distinguished himself as an exceptional orthopedic surgeon.

Chosen by Biomet, Inc, a worldwide leader in the design and Manufacturer of products for knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and other small joint replacement. Dr. Lee attended School in Oxford, England to learn how to do what is known as the Oxford Unicompartmental Knee Replacement. After completing the course, Dr. Lee performed in the first Oxford Knee replacement in South Carolina in October 2005. Foothills Orthopedic has since done over 100 unicondylar knee replacements with great success.

Dr. Lee also offers Educational talks, classes and yearly BBQ's for patients.
